My first smartphone was the original Droid by Motorola. For about two years, my text message ringtone was that wonderful “Drrroid” sound.
I made the switch to Apple’s iPhone 4s shortly after its launch, and was beyond satisfied with the user interface. However, I still missed that old Droid text tone, which prompted me to finally install the ringtone on my own.
