Check-in with foursquare, check out with Bizzy

17 Oct

Seems like everyone and a their dog is using foursquare’s API to design new and unique applications. There certainly isn’t a shortage of developers trying to enhance the foursquare experience, and, in the process, get a piece of the pie.

Bizzy, at its core, is the inverse of foursquare. You use this application to check out of the venue.

This comes in handy for one reason and one reason only—reviews.

Foursquare doesn’t give you a chance to review the venue, unless the review is based on your first impression. Sure, the tips section lets you provide some insight but this is not a place for you to leave your opinion; it is a place to offer advice for new guests based on your experience.

One bit of irony about this service comes in the name. Oftentimes people are too, “Bizzy,” to check in, not to mention check out. It’s a paradox that is also the reason this app will either succeed or fail.

As always, it’s recommend that you try new things. Who knows, this app could enhance your foursquare experience or it could prove to be just another time-killer.
