Pioneer Auto Museum featured on American Pickers

MURDO, S.D. – The History Channel’s popular “American Pickers” television show will feature Pioneer Auto in a new episode on Jan. 2, 2012.

In August 2011 the pickers made a trip to South Dakota. During their time here, they went to popular destinations including the 1880 Ghost Town. Their final, and most memorable stop on the trip was to Pioneer Auto, where they scavenged and ‘picked’ Dave’s collection of unique automobiles and memorabilia.

According to the History Channel’s website, American Picker, Mike Wolfe, “spied a sexy belly tank cycle car with classic Hollywood history.”

Make sure to tune in, as Pioneer Auto makes national television. The new episode will air Mon. Jan. 2, 2012 on the History Channel at 9 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. MST.
