The downside to running a body-beating race, such as a marathon, is the accompanying mandatory week of recovery.
Fortunately, I have very little overall muscle soreness. My biceps are a bit tight from pumping and I can feel some soreness in my legs, as well. But I can’t wait to get back on the trails—maybe indoor track and treadmill, now that the weather is turning colder.
Yesterday I began researching and planning my 2014 marathon schedule, and I think, already, I have decided which races I want to run.
